English players to watch out in Pak T20 League 2022

A lot of English players' skills are going to get displayed at the ongoing Pak T20 League. In this article, we have selected a few players who can really make an impact in the league and can prove to be fatal on the ground. The 2022 edition of the Pak T20 League has started and there are a lot of young talents taking part in the competition, especially English players. Not just the upcoming stars, we will get to see experienced players like Jason Roy, Moeen Ali, Chris Jordan among others.

Keeping in mind that the World T20 Cup is not far away, the ongoing Pak League can prove to be a good platform for players wanting to start their careers in the international T20 format. Here is the list of English players who would be keen on impressing the selectors, and are expected to perform brilliantly in the league.

Joe Clarke

Playing with Karachi Kings, it is the second time that Clarke is playing in the tournament, and this 25-year-old batsman is a known figure in the T20 format of cricket. He is an outstanding batsman with over 2700 runs in the T20 format, more than that, his strike rate touches a whopping 160. The player also had an impressive record in the recently culminated Australia's T20 League.

In Australia's T20 League, Clarke added 419 runs in his records with a strike rate of 151. Averaging 32 runs, Clarke played with Melbourne Stars and is expected to replicate the same form in his current tournament.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore

Kohler-Cadmore in not new to the world of T20 cricket but is yet to feature in the international team of England. With his strike rate touching 140, Tom has scored over 2800 runs in his career as a T20 batsman. This English batsman has played in leagues like UAE T10 League and Sri Lanka T20 League. This 27-year-old batsman was magnanimous with his bat the last time he played with Deccan Gladiators. Strike rate surging to 200, Kohler-Cadmore struck 288 runs to help his team win the UAE T10 League. Moreover, he also contributed in the Sri Lanka T20 League and took his team Jaffna Kings towards victory.

Will Smeed

Although not common in the T20 world, Smeed reached heights by just playing a few matches in his career. It will be the first time he would be playing in a foreign league. Even though he has not much experience with the bat, the batsman is expected to leave his mark after playing with Quetta in this league. You should not miss this player if you are playing in the Pak T20 Fantasy League.

Luke Wood

Enough of the batsmen in this article, Wood is a seamer clocks speed over 90 miles per hour with a ball in his hand. This uncapped player is not just good with the new ball, but has been productive in the death overs too. Also, Wood is an all-rounder and has two centuries in his name. So, if you are making your team in the PSL Fantasy Cricket League, and one of the teams is Quetta, you should not miss giving a spot to Luke in your team.
